The short version: we collect the information needed to plan and book your travel, we share it with the airlines, hotels and other providers who deliver your trip, and we do not sell your personal information. You can access or delete your data at any time.
1. Who we are
Myvo (the “Service”) — including the website at myvo.travel and the Myvo mobile applications for iOS and Android — is operated by ESCAAPE LLC, a limited liability company based in the United States (“ESCAAPE”, “we”, “us” or “our”). ESCAAPE is responsible for the personal information processed under this Privacy Policy.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. By using the Service you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form) and profile preferences. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address (or Apple relay address) that you choose to share.
- Traveler and booking information: names of travelers, date of birth, gender as required by airlines, nationality, passport or ID details, frequent-flyer or loyalty numbers, special assistance or dietary requests, trip dates, destinations and booking history.
- Payment information: card and billing details are collected and processed directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We receive only limited information such as the card type, last four digits, expiry date and transaction status — we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications: messages you send to our support team, reviews, survey responses and waitlist sign-ups.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, crash logs, and how you interact with the Service (pages and screens viewed, searches made, features used).
- Approximate location: inferred from your IP address to show relevant prices, currency and nearby airports.
- Precise location (optional): only if you grant permission on your device, to show nearby experiences or trip-day information. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.
- Push notification tokens: if you allow notifications, so we can send trip updates and alerts.
Information from third parties
- Travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour and transfer operators) and booking platforms may send us booking confirmations, schedule changes and status updates.
- Payment processors and fraud-prevention providers may share transaction and risk information.
- Sign-in providers (Apple, Google) share the profile information you authorize.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
- To search, book, confirm, change and cancel travel on your behalf, and to send itineraries, tickets, receipts and trip updates.
- To process payments, refunds and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To personalize your experience, such as remembering preferences and suggesting destinations.
- To send marketing emails or notifications where you have agreed or where permitted by law — you can opt out at any time.
- To analyze and improve the Service, fix bugs and develop new features.
- To comply with legal obligations, including travel security requirements (for example, Secure Flight data required by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration), tax and accounting rules, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Travel suppliers: airlines, hotels, property owners, car and transfer companies, tour operators and other providers who need your details to fulfil your booking. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Booking and distribution partners: global distribution systems, aggregators and consolidators that connect us to suppliers.
- Service providers: companies that host our infrastructure, process payments, send emails and notifications, provide customer support tools, analytics and crash reporting, and help prevent fraud — under contracts that limit their use of your data to providing services to us.
- Government authorities: customs, immigration and security agencies where required for international or domestic travel.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of you, us or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent: for any other purpose you agree to.
5. Cookies & analytics
Our website and app may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies (and, in the app, software development kits) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. We do not use third-party tracking to follow you across other companies' apps and websites. If we ever do, we will first ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS.
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, we do not currently respond to them, but we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request where required by law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we delete or de-identify your information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records — such as booking, payment and tax records — to meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution obligations, typically for up to seven (7) years.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls and reputable cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password confidential and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
8. Your choices & rights
- Access and update: review and edit your profile and traveler details in the app at any time.
- Marketing: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or adjust notification settings in the app or on your device. We will still send essential messages about your bookings and account.
- Location and permissions: change location, notification, camera or other permissions in your device settings.
- Data requests: request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@myvo.travel.
9. U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and access a copy of it;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Obtain your information in a portable format;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling (we do not sell or share personal information for these purposes);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use sensitive information, such as passport details, only to provide the travel services you request);
- Appeal our decision on your request; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email privacy@myvo.travel with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will verify your identity, usually by confirming details linked to your account, and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with written permission. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

California residents may also request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code § 1798.83; we do not make such disclosures.
10. Deleting your account
You can delete your Myvo account at any time directly in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account, or by emailing privacy@myvo.travel from the email address registered to your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved travelers and preferences. Records of completed bookings may be retained as described in Data retention. Deleting your account does not cancel upcoming bookings — please cancel or manage those first. If you signed in with Apple, you can also revoke Myvo's access in your Apple ID settings.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except where a parent or guardian provides a child's details as a traveler on a booking they make. If you believe a child has given us personal information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International users
ESCAAPE is based in the United States and your information will be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers and travel suppliers operate. Booking travel abroad necessarily involves transferring your details to suppliers in the destination country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — for international transfers. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region with data-protection laws, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. We rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations and, where applicable, your consent as our legal bases for processing.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email or by posting a notice on this page before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date above shows when this policy was last revised.
